Godiva is a registered four-year old, 15.2 plus-hand thoroughbred from Louisiana. We saved her in January and we have her papers, she was not raced. Godiva had gotten caught in some wire or something and her ankles were cut and that is the reason she was thrown away to a kill pen and she was very thin upon arrival to us at HERD. She appears nice and sound now, jogs beautifully and her canter is elegant. We have not ridden her yet as she has been recovering and healing but she was started for racing so has been backed. Godiva is polite, pretty, and very easy going and a bit lazy all great qualities for a thoroughbred to show, hunt or trail ride with this summer. She stands well for her feet to be trimmed, enjoys being groomed and like attention and is very respectful.
