HOLD ON TO ME

Is a 3 yr old 16.3 hand registered TB gelding off the track.  He raced once and came in last.  Subsequently they put him up in auction where he was purchased by a kill buyer in Louisiana.  We saved him in June, he was a starved rack of bones and very wary of people.  He has put on quite a bit of weight this last month but he has a way to go.  We have been gaining his confidants and he is becoming much more social.  He does very well with Godiva who we have him turned out with.  This photo was after his bath, which his ground manners during grooming is outstanding.  The little white marks in this photo is ointment from the nicks he received from the kill pen, all of which are healing very well.  He is not high strung, he is actually a very quite horse.  He loads in the trailer like a champ.

Sorry folks..no wild ride with this TB.  He is super laid back!

He is a character.  I just finished cleaning him up for the video and I turned my back for just a minute..and well, you all know what horses like to do after a bath!  93 degrees and I think the humidity was higher, this was a quick session to see how he would react to cantering in the round pen.  He really is a good boy.  With the right training he will make someone a fine companion!
